1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for, accessing, or using Spectra Packet ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Spectra Packet. By creating an account, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement and that all registration information you submit is accurate and truthful.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Because Spectra Packet handles sensitive network data, you agree to:

• Use a strong, secure password (minimum 12 characters).
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Prohibited Uses

To ensure a safe environment for all users, you agree not to:

• Upload PCAP files or telemetry data containing illegal material, or data you do not have the legal right to possess and analyze.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disrupt the Spectra Packet processing engines or infrastructure.
• Use the platform to facilitate cyberattacks, distribute malware, or engage in unauthorized network reconnaissance against third parties.

5. Intellectual Property

Spectra Packet retains all ownership rights, titles, and interests in the platform, including its original codebase, algorithms, visual design, and branding. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service.

6. User-Generated Content & Network Data

You retain full ownership of any packet captures, network logs, or configuration data you upload to Spectra Packet. By uploading this data, you grant us a temporary, secure license strictly to process, parse, and analyze it to provide you with the Service outputs.

7. Termination & Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if your usage places undue strain on our Beta infrastructure.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties (BETA)

Spectra Packet is currently in a BETA testing phase. The Service is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that uploaded analysis data will be permanently retained. You use the platform at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spectra Packet and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or network integrity resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
